Catheryn Small: Given that the cost of a motor and controls for a 1:4 scale will easily go higher than $3,000.00 most of us choke at the idea of going bigger. Control surfaces for a 1:2 will need servo motors about 4 times more powerful than can be bought off the shelf today. Propellers and engines will have to be similarly scaled up.
