Hal Palowoda: For many people, education makes the difference between life and death. Education opens doors and public education teaches middle-class norms which many people do not learn at home. 70% of the prison inmates (or inmates on death row--I can't remember which) are illiterate. Education does not guarantee success, but it makes success a possibility....Show more
Rodrigo Pezley: it must be necessary..and this is not simply controversial topic...you can't always take up on your experience which you have in life..in today's world..you need to understand thing, and behind situational scenes..if you educated than it will easier to understand and stand up in future..with out education ,you looks person who has no MIND..he/she can seen, heard, feel and specks everything but he/she not understand thing as actual going gone..may be after some time , after getting some ,experience and he/she will understands some how,but its not worth it...so batter be educated i! n life.....Show more
Jannie Ariola: i paid 30 000 dollars to get a university degree ... so many university degrees, while interesting to learn, have no real application in the working world ... like an arts degree, a philosophy degree, a history degree, a psychology degree ... none of these degrees and more have any application in the working word ... if you go on and get a masters or phd then maybe but to the poor people who think a four year arts degree is going to open up the working world are sadly deluded ... out of every one i went to university with, not one is working in a field even closely related to what they took in university ... in fact, many have gone on to college to take a course that trains for an actual job ... which is what i did, and i think if i had of spent 800 dollars in the beginning before university for a college diploma in which i was working within days of graduating, and over the years i have started and grown my own business, i would ha! ve been much better off ... the only thing university did for! me is give me a big debt to pay off ... i think some education is necessary for success but i don't think loans and grants should be given for courses that do not result in actual jobs ... that is education setting you up for failure...Show more
Kenneth Thuesen: well internet also plays a great deal of support in ur successbut without education u wont understand internet
Sheron Perrez: IT DEPENDS.
