Georgia Dees: "All New Square Foot Gardening" Mel Bartholomew and "More Food From Your Garden" J. R. Mittleider. Both are great, informative and inspiring books Mel for his Small scale large crop methods and I think Mittleider could solve the Worlds hunger problem pretty quick. Get them as soon as you can.
Paul Maymi: "Sunset Magazine" puts out some really cool, user friendly garden books including a real nifty veggie series. By user friendly, not only do the speak english that we can understand with color pictures and detailed diagrams, but the printed them with materials that allow you to carry them out into the garden with you. they clean up real nice if you get mud and garden crud on them. any thing short of putting them underwater won't hurt them. it's cool to have your answer book right out in the garden with you....Show more
Kizzy Hett: The book series by Dr. Hessayon are really good. Those books give a lot of information about seeding, how to pr! epare seeds, when to plant, etc! He has a lot of them, but the one for veg it 'The Vegetable Expert'. Try it out, not too expensive!
