Why is it illegal for anyone under 21 to enter a casino (if they aren't gambling)?

I would guess it is related to the drinking age since so much booze is served in casinos while you're gambling.Also, people under 21 can enter the gaming areas. They just can't stop in the gaming areas. I used to go to Nevada casinos a lot when I was a kid. We would walk through the gaming areas to go to eat or our room. As long as we didn't stop no one ever said a word to us. Nestor Klan: The casino has the right to refuse service and restrict sales to anyone. They simply don't have the manpower to walk up to every person gambling and ask for an ID if they look underage, so it is much easier to refuse them entry.

At an Indian Casino, the age is 18 years old at least in the state of California.
